Description
Torch Lake is a northern Michigan lake famous for its sandbar, which welcomes hundreds of boats and thousands of people all summer long. The sandbar was mentioned in Kid Rock's song All Summer Long.
At 19 miles long it is Michigan's longest inland lake and at approximately 18,770 acres it's Michigan's second largest lake. Noted for its exceptional beauty; its waters are unusually clear and exhibit a bright turquoise hue, often resembling the waters of the Caribbean.
